Run, Run as fast as you can!

 The gingerbread man took our class on a chase through the school!  We used a map to seek him out, stopping to ask for help along the way.  "Have you seen the gingerbread man?"  The nurse saw him run to the office, the office saw him head to the library.  The librarian said it looked like someone came in the library and read the book, The Gingerbread Man...maybe it was the ginger bread man!  Off we went to the gym to look there.  Along the way, Mrs. Troell said she saw something flash by her to the gym...could it be the gingerbread man???  But the coaches said he wasn't there, maybe the cafeteria?  The cafeteria ladies said, "We saw him headed back down your hallway!"  To the classroom we tip-toed...we didn't want to scare him away!  What's that we smell?...gingerbread!!!  He must be close by!  Who turned out the lights in our room??????   Inside we crept, and there at each seat, carefully hidden from sight was the gingerbread man!  Boy he was a sneaky fellow....but he was sure tasty!
